R.K. Pharmacy College boasts excellent infrastructure to support high-quality pharmaceutical education. Laboratories & Animal House
The college features well-equipped laboratories with modern instruments, chemicals, and reagents, enabling students to prepare medicines, gels, creams, solutions, lotions, lipsticks, shampoos, and soaps. The animal house is maintained with rabbits and mice for pharmacological studies, supporting hands-on practical learning for students.
Library Facility
Our library houses over 5,000 books along with 10 journals, periodicals, 5 international journals, and more than 105 e-journals. It serves as a rich resource for both students and faculty, facilitating the continuous update of knowledge and research in pharmaceutical sciences.
Model Drug Store
R.K. Pharmacy College has introduced a Model Drug Store, a simulated training facility where students learn prescription handling, medicine dispensing, billing, inventory management, banking transactions, loan procurement, and pharmacy-related laws. This practical exposure enhances understanding of real-world pharmacy operations and prepares students for entrepreneurship in the field.
Herbal Garden
The college maintains a herbal garden for cultivation of medicinal plants. Herbs and shrubs are grown in the greenhouses, while larger trees are planted in designated areas. Each plant is labeled with its local name, botanical name, family, chief chemical constituents, and uses. A standard herbarium is maintained for student reference, with plans for commercial cultivation of medicinally important plants in the future.
